GRIZZLED YOUNG VETERANS VS THE HUNT
GYV made a comment that The Hunt are a team that ‘just exist’, so now we have this match. GYV get the heat on Wild Boar who is about the same height as a wild boar on all four hooves. Primate gets the hot tag and runs wild, hitting a nice looking spear. GYV hit a neckbreaker/sidekick combo on Primate for a near fall. Wild Boar gets himself involved and The Hunt hit Germans in stereo. It is GYV that come out on top in the end, after hitting Ticket to Mayhem on Primate.
- My name’s Ridge Holland, and I like to fight. Or something to that effect. In action next week.
KASSIUS OHNO VS JACK STARZ
‘Jack Starz has learned a lot from his defeats,’ is commentator speak for, ‘He’s probably gonna lose again.’. This match was booked cause Ohno criticised Starz’s traininf at the UK Performance Centre, so this is certainly a blood feud to end all blood feuds. Kassius wins with the Kassius Clutch.
A-KID VS THE BRIAN KENDRICK
A-Kid hit a dive and a moonsault on the outside, and Kendrick hit a butterfly suplex from the top rope. A-Kid’s finish is really impressive. He jumps into the centre of the top rope and moonsaults into a DDT on Kendrick.
KAY LEE RAY VS TONI STORM – I QUIT MATCH
If Toni Storm loses she can’t challenge for the title again for as long as Kay Lee is champion. They start off with a wild brawl. The first sub attempt is an STF from Toni Storm. Kay Lee makes it to the ropes, but there are no rope breaks. Storm for some reason breaks the hold voluntarily when she doesn’t have to. Storm gets a table cause I Quit matches have no other rules, I guess. She hits a frog splash on Kay Lee through the table. But that ain’t making Kay Lee quit, so she comes back to hit a draping DDT on Toni from the apron to the floor. Kay Lee then takes out some tape and ties up Toni’s arms so she can’t protect herself, and then beats the shit out of her. Kay Lee goes to hit her with a steel chair, but Toni counters with a headbutt. Kay Lee is pissed, so she wedges Storm’s neck in the fold of the chair and then superkicks the chair to mouse trap Toni’s neck. Toni is still tied up, so Kay Lee now looks to Pillmanise her from the top rope. This brings out Sid Scala, Johnny Saint, and Piper Niven. They are all pleading with Kay Lee not to do it. She does it anyway and comes down with a top rope stomp onto the chair. Toni is in tears, but refuses to quit. Kay Lee goes up top again, and Piper Niven begs Toni to quit, so Toni quits before Kay Lee can do it again. Amazing finish to a good match. Loved it.
